Dan Brown

Dan Brown is a Technology Partner at ArrowPath and brings strong technology and operational expertise to the firm. Dan focuses primarily on enterprise infrastructure, network hardware and components.

Dan currently serves on the Board, or is a Board Observer, of Anagran, BinOptics, MetaLincs, OnSite, Sensor Platforms and Vyatta.

Prior to joining Arrowpath, Dan was Vice President of Corporate Marketing and Product Management, at Centerpoint Broadband Technologies, a leader in optical DWDM gear. Dan held a similar role at MAYAN Networks, an optical edge switch manufacturer, serving as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development.

From the enterprise perspective, Dan led the development of network infrastructure and customer solutions as Vice President of Engineering at FirstWorld Communications, a Denver-based CLEC. Mr. Brown has held other high level and technical management positions, such as Director of ATM Engineering at 3Com's Global Design Center, where he was tasked with helping to design some of the largest private networks in the U.S., for such clients as Bank of America, Charles Schwab, Morgan Stanley, and Lehman Brothers.

Dan began his career at British Telecom where he held several positions, including manager of the Global Data Operations Center.
